                     Developed for Advanced Computing Class in Spring 2007. A modular table made of a series of ‘pods’, each pod having different top options to accommodate various functions. The pods interlock and pivot, and can be stacked to create a modular screen or shelving unit. Featured in the FormZ joint study report for 2006/7.

Nesting Kitchen Table

This nesting table set was designed for a private client, and was built by Peter Trumbull Crellin. The design brief was for a table and chairs for casual dining in the kitchen, and a coffee table for a nearby banquette, all of which could be stowed away to free up space if visitors were expected. This project was designed and built in 2007.

Living Room Table

              This table was designed with living room activities in mind. The concept began with a focus on the consumption of wine, and protection against possible spillage. All living room activities were analyzed: the table design also provides designated storage for CD’s, magazines, snacks, flowers, ipods, and remotes, leaving clear surfaces for the placement of additional items as needed. The design and placement of the recesses was first driven by function and second influenced by a pattern of snow fall. The table […]
